This year's Glasgow Piping Festival set to be biggest yet

GLASGOW will be alive with the sound of bagpipes later as the 9th international piping festival is launched. The August event will see around forty thousand visitors descend on the city for the annual music extravaganza. Eight thousand pipers, drummers and performers are expected from around the world for the world's biggest week of traditional music.
