SKI champ Nicole Ritchie is celebrating success on the slopes after securing three national titles in the space of three weeks.
The 16-year-old Glasgow based sensation took gold at the British dry slopes championships, Scottish Slalom and giant slalom championships as well as the Scottish Schools championships .
Nicole was also chosen last week to represent Scotland at The World schools championships in Aosta, Italy in March and has been selected for Youth Olympic trials in Austria in December.
The Craigholme school girl is training seven days a week to prepare for international alpine races in Norway, Italy, Austria, France and Canada over the winter season and she aims to go from strength to strength.
She said: “I am keen to maintain this level and know I have to really work hard to do so . I am remaining really focused and hope to do well on snow this year.”
National performance manager Snowsport Scotland Ross Gardner admits he’s excited at the prospect of the Alpine season getting underway.
He said: “I am really looking forward to working with Nicole and her fellow team athletes as we compete on the International FIS circuit.”
