AUSSIE ace Robert Ksiezak's speedway season is over after last month's horrific crash at Berwick.
At the time it looked as though, miraculously, the Aussie racer had come out of the Shielfield smash relatively unscathed.
However, a scan on his right knee has shown sever ligament damage which urgently requires an operation to resolve.
Thus, what at first appeared to be a one-month injury absence is now set to sideline the 23-year-old for a year.
Tigers management have moved swiftly to organise a replacement for Ksiezak, with yet another Aussie, Michael Penfold, due to jet in next week to go straight into the side.
