GLASGOW TIGERS co-boss Alan Dick paid tribute to the club's "fantastic" supporters today after their Fighting Fund reached the £8000 mark at the weekend.
With Glasgow looking to pay off a £30,000 debt for track upgrade work, the fans have rallied to the cause.
Dick said: "We have been overwhelmed by the response from fans. They're a fantastic bunch.
"I'd personally like to thank every one of them."
Meanwhile Dick has called on the Tigers newboys to build on their solid showing in Sunday's 52-41 win against Edinburgh.
Mason campton, Jade Mudgeway, Jayden O'Malley and Robert Ksiezak scored 18 of the points between them.
And, ahead of Thursday's League Cup trip to Sheffield, Dick said: "Everyone has to chip in like that."
