A SUPERB display by the Glasgow Tigers saw them smash the Stoke Potters by a convincing 56-36 scoreline at Ashfield.
The Tigers - at full strength for the first time since late April - dominated the meeting and provided all but one of the heat winners on the day.
Pleasing for the fans was the form of the Glasgow heat leader spearhead which was at its very best led by Trent Leverington who racked up a magnificent full 15 point maximum, a performance which just eclipsed Shane Parker's 12 points on his first home meeting since the end of April.
The Potters were expected to push Glasgow much closer, and only Ben Barker's 11 point haul offered any cutting edge for the visitors. Tigers teenage Aussie duo of Josh Grajczonek and Mitchell Davey were chipping in with five points apiece.
Next Sunday's visitors to Ashfield (start time 4pm) are the Berwick Bandits in what will be Tigers' penultimate home Premier League fixture of the season.
The Bandits almost snatched a surprise win when they last visited Glasgow, only two successive '5-1s' saved Tigers' blushes.
