BBL: Glasgow Rocks v Plymouth Raiders Image 5
GLASGOW ROCKS booked their place in the last four of the BBL play-offs with a 80-60 thumping of Plymouth Raiders at the Kelvin Hall on Sunday.
The victory - 159-144 on aggregate - sets up a semi final clash with Leicester Riders in a repeat of the fiery meeting between the two sides which the Rocks edged two years ago.
Plymouth took a five-point lead into last night's second leg but were swept aside by Sterling Davis' rampant Rocks.
The home side were 21-12 up after the first quarter and still held a six-point advantage going into the last period in which a 16-5 run eased them into the last four.
Mychal Green once again led the scoring for Davis' men after hitting 26 points.
The Rocks will now host Rob Paternostro's Riders in the semi final first leg on Friday, tip off 7.30pm, before heading to Loughbourough Uni for the return on Sunday, (3.30pm).
Newcastle Eagles face Cheshire Jets in the second semi final.
