COACH Sterling Davis wants Glasgow Rocks to show their ruthless side as they continue their push for a top five place against Newcastle Eagles tonight.
The old rivals go head-to-head at at Sport Central in what could be a pivotal BBL Championship meeting.
Davis was gutted to see his side go down 82-65 to Sheffield Sharks on Wednesday night following a dramatic third quarter breakdown.
It leaves the Kelvin Hall side level on points with Plymouth Raiders in fifth place with 34 points from 31 matches.
And the boss knows his players have their work cut out tonight against Fab Flourney's Newcastle side who have overcome a nightmare injury list to hold onto second place in the standings.
A standout, according to the Glasgow coach, has been veteran forward Charles Smith, in his fourth spell with the Eagles.
Davis conceded: "They have really been dealt some unfortunate blows with injuries. Credit them for persevering through it to still keep their stride.
"Charles Smith has really consistently put them on his back. He can't go without mention under their circumstances.
"We need to just get the crucial stops necessary to close a game out. They have a new look to the last time we saw them but just as potent."
