Braehead Clan star Jade Galbraith makes play-off plea to team mates

JADE GALBRAITH believes Braehead Clan must hit the goal trail if they are to enjoy play-off success.

The Glasgow side coasted to a 6-2 win over Fife Flyers last week and the former Nottingham man insists they need to continue to hit the net.

Ahead of the weekend double-header with Hull and Sheffield, he said: “In the last four or five games it has been a real struggle to score.

“When we drew a blank in the first period against Fife, it meant we had gone four periods without finding the net.

“However, we just had to be patient . We were frustrated but we knew that the chances would probably come in a bunch. That was the case – we stuck at it and got a few goals in the end.

“It was much needed. We want to be playing as well as we possibly can going into the play-offs.”
