BRAEHEAD CLAN player coach Drew Bannister admits he can't wait to hit the ice with Canadian star Brock McPherson.
The Glasgow side have bolstered their squad by bringing in the Toronto born right-winger who arrives after five years with the Lakeside University Thunderwolves.
After netting 28 points in 28 games last season, McPherson was one of the top offensive players fo rthe Wolves and Bannister is hoping he continues his scoring run at the Clan.
He said: "I'm excited to see Brock make the jump to the Pro level out of a very good Canadian University Hockey League.
"He has worked hard this summer to get himself in shape and is making the right choices to become a pro with our team.
"With his skill and size he will add to our offensive game up front."
Bannister has also turned his attention closer to home by adding Scottish forward Callum Adamson.
The youngster has played for both the under-17 and under-19 Scotland teams and Clan bench coach Frank Morris believes he's one for the future.
He said: "Callum is definitely one to watch. It will take him time to find his feet at such a young age but there is no doubt he is ready both mentally and physically to step up to the challenge ahead."
