Ice Hockey: Braehead Clan defence Matt Haywood signs up for another campaign

BRAEHEAD Clan's preparations for next season received a boost after fans' favourite Matt Haywood confirmed his future with Bruce Richardson's side.

The 20-year-old recently picked up the Clan's most improved player award and is delighted to have signed up for another campaign.

He said: "I am happy to sign for coach Richardson and the Clan for a second season."
