Ramsdens Cup: Partick Thistle hitman Doolan fires warning to Raith Rovers

Kris Doolan has revealed the Jags’ strikers are gunning for Raith Rovers on Sunday as the high-flying hitmen aim to top the scoring charts by firing the club into the Ramsdens Cup semi-finals.

Thistle cemented their place at the top of the First Division at the weekend by thumping Hamilton 4-0.

And Firhill striker Doolan said: “Everyone’s flying high because of the great start to the season. The goals have been going in thick and fast and there’s three of us – myself, Chris Erskine and Steven Lawless – now tied on four goals each.

“Steven Craig joined us last Friday and scored two at the weekend so that’s even more competition to be top scorer. We are all trying to outdo each other and hopefully we can hit a few goals against Raith.”

Prices on Sunday are £15 for adults and £7 for concessions. Parent and Child tickets are £20. Please note Under-6s are not given free entry for this cup match.
