BRAEHEAD CLAN star Jade Galbraith has given the club a pre-season boost by signing on for another campaign.

The 30-year-old scooped seven awards last season including EIHL Player of the Year and was the club’s top scorer with 38 goals and 63 assists.

Galbraith will also now become player-coach Jordan Krestanovich’s assistant and he admits he is thrilled to return.

The Canadian said: “I had lots of other offers and took some time to weigh them all up before I jumped in and I am really pleased to have signed on again with the Clan.

“I will be working closely with Jordan as his assistant coach and we have a lot of ideas regarding who we want to bring in, what type of players we need and how to move the team forward.

“We will be looking to win some titles this season, that’s for sure.”
