GLASGOW Warriors Head Coach Sean Lineen has called for his side to rise to the challenge of beating the best team in Europe.
The Warriors face off against current European champions Leinster in the RaboDirect PRO12 playoff semi-final on Saturday night
Five changes have been made to the Warriors side that beat Connacht last week to book their place in the semi's, including the return to the side of captain Al Kellock.
Lineen is expecting the hardest of challenges, and has put his players through a tough regime in advance of the game.
Speaking to the Warrior's official website, he said: “The players have trained really well all week – there’s an obvious hunger and determination there which stands us in good stead. We’re all well aware of just how tough a match this is going to be, but we’re focussing on ourselves and what we have to do to win. "
Leinster will defend their Heineken Cup title a week on Saturday, but Lineen believes his side can match the Irish.
He said: " We've shown character, ability and tenacity to get ourselves into the semi-finals. The challenge now is to bring out those qualities in even bigger quantities to beat the best team in Europe."
The match takes place at the RDS arena, Dublin at 7.45 pm on Saturday, and will be broadcast on BBC ALBA.
