THE larger than life superstars of the WWE returned to Glasgow last Friday with another stunning show.
Fans packed out the Braehead Arena to see the WWE's huge range of characters punch, kick and suplex each other out of their boots.
In the first match of the night wrestler Charlie Haas chose to pay tribute to Glasgow by dressing up as legendary Canadian grappler Rowdy Roddy Piper - who used to claim the city as his hometown.
American Haas was cheered on by the Glaswegian fans as he entered the ring wearing Piper's distinctive kilt to the sound of bagpipe music.
And the tribute paid off as Haas defeated monstrously large opponent Snitsky with a roll-up pin.
The WWE women's champion Beth Phoenix was in action next in a competitive bout against Candice Michelle.
Following a series of near falls from both women Phoenix eventually won the match when she applied her vicious looking face-buster move.
Two big men took to the ring in the third match of the night as the massive Kane overwhelmed opponent D-Lo Brown with his special move the chokeslam.
The crowd were then treated to world tag team champions CM Punk and Kofi Kingston as they battled against Cody Rhodes and Manu.
The popular champs showed off some acrobatic moves while their opponents used every sneaky move in the book - although it was to no avail as Punk and Kingston triumphed.
English grappler and intercontinental champion William Regal was in action next against Santino Marella and immediately angered the audience by branding Scots as "cowards".
However Regal was not punished for his outburst by his opponent and won the match with a flying knee.
Wrestling icon Shawn Michaels competed against the cocky JBL in the penultimate match of the night.
But before the grappling even began JBL was booed by nearly every fan after he accused Glaswegian men of wearing "skirts" and insisted that America owned Scotland.
Fortunately Michaels was able to silence JBL in style - with a superkick to the face.
The main event was a tag team bout between the hated Chris Jericho and Randy Orton and the hugely popular duo Batista and Rey Mysterio.
And the Braehead Arena roof nearly lifted off when the high flying Mysterio hit his special move the 619 on both Orton and Jericho.
The muscle-packed Batista then powerbombed Orton to win the match and send the crowd home happy.
