POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a Pollokshields mum who hasn’t been seen for more than three weeks.
Concern is growing for Diane Lann, 47, who disappeared without vital daily medication.
She has also left her 16-year-old daughter on her own.
And it has been revealed that the mum has suffered a number of family bereavements over the last year, including her mum and ex-partner.
Sergeant Cenny Smith, of Cathcart Police, said: “It has been three weeks since Diane was last seen. It’s not normal for her not to contact her family and they are becoming increasingly concerned.
“She has a couple of close friends who she is in regular contact with but they have not seen or heard from her either.”
Anyone with information about Diane’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cathcart Police Office on 532 4900 or to get in contact with a local police office.
Sergeant Smith added: “I’d also appeal to Diane herself to let either family or police know that she is okay.”
Diane is 5ft 4in, of slim build, with short brown hair, green eyes and a pale complexion.
Friends also said she has a heart-shaped tattoo and a scar on her left arm.
When Diane was last seen by her daughter on Monday, April 2 on Battlefield Road, she was wearing a grey or blue, long-length jacket and blue “baggy style” jeans.
Her daughter also recalls her mum wearing white trainers and a black baseball cap.
The hunt for Diane has so far included a poster campaign by local shops and businesses. Police have issued appeals via social media networks, Twitter and Facebook.
In addition, CCTV records in the Pollokshields area have been checked, while friends, family and neighbours have been extensively spoken to.
