A TEENAGE boy was killed and three of his friends were injured when their vehicle hit a parked car then smashed into a wall.

Ryan Bell, 15, was a passenger in the car which crashed on Duntreath Avenue in Yoker at about 2am on Sunday.

Two girls, aged 14 and 15, were taken to the Western Infirmary, where they were said to be in a stable condition.

It has emerged that Ryan had given up his seatbelt for one of the female passengers, as she couldn't get hers to work.

Tributes to Ryan were left next to the roadside where the tragedy happened, including flowers, teddy bears and football shirts and scarves.

The 17-year-old male driver of the vehicle was treated in hospital for minor injuries but later released.

He has been arrested for road-traffic offences.
