FOOTBALL pundit Chick Young got on his bike this week to launch an annual charity run in aid of sick kids.
The BBC sports reporter joined Rock Radio DJs Billy Rankin and Tom Russell in Glasgow on Monday to launch this year's Yorkhill Children's Foundation Easter Egg Run.
Taking place on Easter Sunday, April 24, the run will feature thousands of bikers taking part in a six-mile run through the west end of the city, leaving from Kelvin Way and finishing at the Yorkhill hospital.
Last year, a convoy of more than 5000 bikers, many wearing fancy dress, raised an impressive s12,000 for the foundation. This year, the organisers hope to raise more than double that amount.
Chick said: "Having taken part in previous years, I know that the Easter Egg Run is a hugely enjoyable event.
"More importantly though, everyone who gets involved will be supporting one of the Scotland's best charities.
"Every year, the foundation helps thousands of sick children across the country - through the provision of vital equipment, care services and support.
"So, Glaswegian readers, if you have a bike, a trike or even a quadbike, get registered, get fundraising and join me on the day."
