MOVIE and music icon Barbra Streisand is a huge fan of one of Glasgow's most famous sons.
The 67-year-old star of The Way We Were and Funny Girl said she loved the work of architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
During an hour-long interview with Jonathan Ross on Friday night, Streisand said: "I'm building a street of shops in the basement of my home.
"I love architecture and I love all the great architects. They always used to also do the interiors of their buildings."
Pamela Robertson, senior curator of Mackintosh studies at the Hunterian Art Gallery, said: "It is wonderful for Glasgow to know that she holds Mackintosh in such high esteem."
