SEVENTEEN people were arrested at the last Old Firm game of the season, in which Celtic beat Rangers 3-0 at Parkhead.

A police spokesman said: “The offences included breach of the peace and drunk and disorderly behaviour.”

On Saturday, around 7000 Rangers fans marched to Hampden in protest against SFA sanctions on the club.

A judicial panel imposed a 12-month transfer ban and a £160,000 fine on the Ibrox club after they were found guilty of five charges in relation to their finances and the appointment of Craig Whyte as chairman. He was given a lifetime ban.
