Glasgow University publish world's first historical thesaurus

GLASGOW University are today celebrating the result of 45 years of work as the world's first historical thesaurus is published.
The Historical Thesaurus of the Oxford English Dictionary was the brainchild of Prof Michael Samuels in 1964. While Prof Christian Kay, pictured, devoted 40 years of her life's work to on the book.
