THE last letter written by Charles Rennie Mackintosh has gone on display.
It was written when the artist and architect was terminally ill with cancer in a London hospital in 1928.
It will form part of a new display, Mackintosh and the Glasgow School of Art, at the Hunterian Art Gallery.
The letter was to the wife of art school's director.
Professor Pamela Robertson, the museum's senior curator, said: "The letter gives a moving insight into Mackintosh the private man."
A free illustrated talk will take place on Saturday from 11am until noon.
