Glasgow City
Rampant Glasgow City remain top of the Scottish Women's Premier League after they destroyed Hamilton 4-0 in a one sided match on Sunday. Goals by Eilish McSorley, Emma Mitchell, Megan Sneddon and Ruesha Littlejohn were enough for Eddie Wolecki's girls, who stay above Celtic on goal difference.
And the head coach paid tribute to his ladies for showing strength in character to cope with missing players.
He said: "We controlled the match and I'm delighted with the 4-0 win.
" E girls have worked hard to maintain a good level of performance particularly after we had a few disruptions to training due to injuries and internationals."
City opened the scoring through centre-half Eilish McSorley. A short corner saw Emma Fernon deliver to the head of Rachel Corsie and she nodded down to McSorley to re home.
Emma Mitchell then netted from the penalty spot after City striker Kat Lindner had been fouled.
A Megan Sneddon effort 10 minutes from time made it 3-0 before sub Ruesha Littlejohn added the fourth.
