QUEEN'S PARK goal hero Tony Quinn says the amateurs are aiming for a play-off berth after fighting back to beat the Gable Endies.
Quinn's left-foot shot hit the net in the 70th minute - after his header from a corner had been blocked - to complete the Queen's fightback from one goal down.
He said: "I headed the ball on the near post and a defender cleared and I just scooped it with my left and it went in.
"I have been playing with an injury for a while and it is only my second goal of the season but it could be a vital one.
"We are aiming for the play-offs and we will take it from there. It was great to see the ball hit the net as Montrose have a lot of decent players and it is good to go home with three points."
Paul Tosh gave Montrose the lead in the first half but seven minutes after the break David Murray chipped in for an equaliser.
Tosh had the ball in the net on two other occasions but was ruled offside.
Queen's boss Gardner Speirs said: "We dominated the second half and it's good to come from a goal behind and snatch the points with two opportunist efforts."
