QUEEN'S PARK boss Gardner Speirs says he'll continue to scour the junior ranks for new faces after snapping up highly-rated Kilsyth Rangers striker Michael Daly.
The 23-year-old is expected to complete his switch to the Hampden side on Wednesday in time for pre-season training at the end of this week.
Daly has won a host of admirers in the last year after a goal-laden season with Kilsyth.
Speirs said: "I have known about Michael for a while and watched him a few times and I am delighted to have him on board for next season.
"He will hopefully score a few goals for us and he is very good in the air which is something we have not had for a while - a striker with an aerial threat.
"Michael holds the ball up well and brings others into play so hopefully he can do well for us."
Daly's acquisition takes the Spiders squad to 17 going into the pre-season slog.
And while the manager doesn't want to carry the same size of squad as last term, he is still keen to add two or three more new faces.
Finding another keeper to challenge Zander Cowie is a priority as is another frontman.
"Hopefully there will be more signings from all levels of football," said Speirs.
"I have watched a number of games at junior level and been impressed with what I have seen. I think all clubs are starting to cast their net further in the search for new players.
"It's just a case of trying to identify the right players for your club. We can offer them facilities which are second to none at Hampden and that's a real attraction to a lot of players."
