Ramsdens Cup draw: Partick Thistle to kick off season against Clyde at Alloa

PARTICK THISTLE have been drawn away to old rivals Clyde in the first round of the Ramsdens Cup.

Today's draw at Falkirk Stadium paired Jackie McNamara's Jags with Jim Duffy's Bully Wee in what will be the curtain raiser for the season.

Thistle will be determined to get the season off to a flier just as they did against Clyde when the sides last met two years ago at the same stage of the competition.

With Clyde currently homeless the match will be played at Alloa's Recreation park on Saturday, July 28.
