EX-CELTIC youngster Stephen O'Donnell has been snapped up by Partick Thistle boss Jackie McNamara.
The 19-year-old defender, who was a key member of Stevie Frail’s Celtic Under-19 side that won the league and cup double last year, had seen potential moves to Aberdeen and Hibs fall through this summer.
But the versatile youngster has now agreed a deal until the end of the season at Firhill.
O'Donnell is primarily a right back but can play in a number of positions across the back and in midfield.
McNamara said: "Stephen has been training with us for a few weeks and we liked what we saw."
Meanwhile, the Glaswegian understands ex-Hibs, Dunfermline and Falkirk frontman Tam McManus is still training with the Jags as he bids to win a deal at Firhill.
