PARTICK THISTLE landed a stiff Scottish Cup draw against first division rivals Falkirk in today's fourth round draw at Hampden.
The Jags defeated Stirling Albion in the third round on Saturday and were hoping for a crowd-pulling tie as a reward.
But the trip to Westfield is not what Ian McCall would be looking for with Steven Pressley's Bairns flying high in the first division.
Nevertheless the clash is certainly winnable for McCall's men.
The two teams have met twice already this season - with Falkirk winning 1-0 at Firhill in the Co-operative Insurance Cup and the Jags gaining revenge in the league with a 1-0 victory at the same venue last month.
Full draw for the Scottish Cup fourth round, ties will be played on January 8 and 9:
Aberdeen v East Fife

Queen of the South v Brechin City or Annan Athletic
