POLLOK look certain to save their top flight status tonight when they travel to First Division Renfrew for the Premier League play-off second leg.
Lok thumped Frew 4-0 in Monday night's first leg at Newlandsfield meaning the return at Western Park should be a formality.
John Richardson's men had been made to wait for the pressure-filled fixture as the first division season dragged on.
But when it came to the crunch on Monday, Lok showed the kind of ruthless streak which they've been missing all season as they raced into a 3-0 half time lead with goals from Carlo Monti, Michael O'Hara and Billy Jones.
Ex-Drumchapel Amateurs midfielder Jones added a fourth in the second half and Lok successfully shut out the previously free scoring Frew.
Richardson had stressed the importance of his side retaining their place in the top flight after a season well below the standards expected of the south side giants.
Now, if they can keep the Frew frontline quiet for a second time tonight, it will be mission accomplished.
Kick off at Western Park is 7.30pm.
