Exit Through The Gift Shop (15) In the world of street art, few people command as much admiration as Banksy, the enigmatic king of graffiti, rumoured to hail from Bristol. The artist tries his hand behind the camera for a change with this amusing documentary narrated by Rhys Ifans. The film has been constructed from hours of video camera footage captured by French amateur filmmaker Thierry Guetta, who intended to document the explosion of street art. In the process of interviewing the secretive Banksy, Guetta was bitten by the street art bug himself and metamorphosed into his alter ego Mr Brainwash. Copying the activities of the artists he admired, Guetta staged an ambitious show in Los Angeles which caused ripples in the art world and threatened to destroy himself.
