When people are recovering from injury they tend to focus on the wrong areas. Not only will this slow recovery but may make the injury worse. Often the reason people gain a certain injury isbecause they have a weak core.
So instead of solely working on the injured area what the individual needs to do is some core stability exercises.
Being able to do the exercises in your own home gives you no excuses. You can also buy some accessories such as a core exercise ball or a medicine ball to help with your workout and make it a bit more fun.
You could even get your friends and family involved. Everyone needs to do core stability exercises. Whether they are old, young, fit or unfit, they help keep your body in good working order.
Try different exercises - three sets x 15 reps twice a week and see how you go.
