GLASWEGIANS heading to the city's Old Fruitmarket this weekend will experience a very different version of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.

Burlesque troupe High Tease will form part of an star-studded cast taking part in a risque version of the festive story.

Expect to be bewildered and bewitched at this ribald pastiche full of bawdy shenanigans, pant-y-mime tomfoolery and of course, the sexiest showgirls and boys in town. This will be followed by late-night swing and lounge classics with Vegas, Scotland's swingin' award-winning club, in this fabulous evening of shimmying showgirls, captivating cabaret and titillating tunes.

Suggested attire for the night includes sexy silks and vintage furs for cool cats and kitsch kittens.

Doors open at 7.15pm, Saturday with the High Tease show beginning at 8pm. Those with tickets for Vegas only will be admitted at 10.30pm.
